Saturday in Arizona

Saturday morning we woke and got ready for a fun filled day of Salt River Tubing. Last year when all the girls came to Arizona we went tubing and it was a blast, so we had to do it again. We definitely came prepared this time (or should I say Lauren's friends came prepared). We each rented a tube and tied everyone in our group together with a rope. There was about 12 people including ourselves, so we had a very big group with us! Last year when we went tubing there was a group of people who brought big huge marshmallows and would throw them at people who would in turn throw them back and you would end up having a bunch of marshmallows being thrown around. So this year we brought our own bag. It was soo much fun to see everyone having a good time! At one point every person in our group grabbed 2 marshmallows each and we all threw them at once. It was hilarious!!
This is a picture from our marshmallow fight...Once our marshmallow fight was over we sat back and relaxed. Our float was 4 hours worth and around the 3 hour mark we came to a huge cliff that people were jumping off of. In order to jump off of this cliff you have to climb up the rocks. Brady and Gilbert of course wanted to jump off but the only thing that they cautioned was the fact that they had no shoes on. But that did not stop them. They climbed right up the rocks in no time and jumped off.

I was a little nervous for my husband to be jumping off this huge cliff but he made it back to his tube in one piece!! Soon after the jump we were nearing the end. Once we were done we loaded up our tubes and jumped on a bus which took us back to our car. Tubing is always an interesting experience and this time did not let me down. We all had so much fun and it was so nice to meet some of Lauren's friends in Arizona.

Once we got back to the apartment we ate and then relaxed, we were all so worn out and sunburned!! Yes mom I put on my sunscreen, but I guess not enough!! haha

That night we went to one of my favorite restaurants, Yard House. Yard House is an upscale-casual eatery that has the most amazing food. Yard House is known for the world's largest selection of draft beer. Each location features a transparent keg room when you first walk in that contains more than 600 barrels of beer. Since I am not a beer drinker I go for the great food. My favorite thing on the menu is the French Onion Soup, makes me hungry just thinking about it!!
